How to Choose Rice/Wheat Combine Harvester
1. Rice Harvesting Machine Model
The power of combine harvester is usually 9-107 kw, so the machine model should be matched with the field area. If the field is flat and vast, the large combine type is good choice, on the contrary, a small one is better.
2. Paddy Harvester Feeding Way
According to feeding way, rice combine harvester can be divided into half-feeding combine harvester and whole-feeding combine harvester. The nature difference is in different handling way of rice straw.
For half-feeding rice harvester, only the rice ears are involved in the threshing device, the filed stubble is low to 6-10 cm. While this type of combine harvester is of complicated threshing and conveying design, so it is expensive and subject to fault. The whole-feeding combine harvester involves both rice ears and straw into threshing device, after the straw are crushed, they will be discharged in the land field. Whole feeding paddy harvesting equipment is of relatively low price and good performance.
3. Harvester Forward Device
There are mainly two types of forward device for rice harvester, wheel type and rubber belt type. The wheel type is flexible and energy-saving while as the wheel has small contacting area with land, so it makes much pressure and do damage to soil. So you can choose the wheel type harvester when the land is small and of sandy soil. For rubber belt type harvester, it puts low pressure to land field and suitable for large wet paddy field with clayed soil.
